DR. HEATHER RILEY

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Heather Riley grew up in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC. Ever since she was a small child, Dr. Riley has felt a special attachment to animals. She Graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Since graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Riley has practiced in NC, SC, PA and OH. She is extremely excited to have joined the Veterinary Wellness Partners family recently.  Dr. Riley enjoys seeing both dogs and cats and especially enjoys internal medicine and dermatology. She loves getting to know both her patients and clients. Dr Riley and her husband, Jason, have two adult daughters, Sarah and Becca. The Riley family have two very spoiled dogs, Stella Luna, a 10-year-old boxerdoodle and Arlo, a 3-year-old standard poodle. Outside of work, Dr. Riley enjoys camping, cooking, gardening, collecting unique house plants and spending time with her family and dogs. 

A fun fact about Dr Riley is she got to draw blood from a sea turtle while in vet school.
